I’m currently a junior at St. Mary’s College of Maryland pursuing a BA in Public Policy and Environmental Studies. I love working with the natural world and the policies that affect our relationship with it.
Work Experience
Cashier, Go! Toys and Games, Columbia Mall (Summer 2021)
- Managed the store in the absence of the store director, organized store inventory and shipments.
- Assisted customers with their shopping experience while creating a positive and engaging environment for store customers.
Intern, Trash Free Maryland (Summer 2020)
- Assisted the Board of Directors with rebranding and strategic planning, and developed environmental policy goals while responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Conducted research on environmental issues facing the state, such as plastic pollution and policy surrounding single-use plastic bags.
Student Page, Maryland General Assembly (Winter 2019)
- Assisted state senators during legislative sessions, attended legislative committee meetings, participated in the legislative process, and performed administrative tasks around the office.
- Participated in roundtable discussions with state senators and learned about policymaking and the typical duties and functions of the legislature.
- Prepared and managed legislative materials for state senators prior to each session.
