Over the winter term of 2020, I worked with a faculty member to complete an independent study on a subject relating to law and policy. I researched the history of felon voting rights in the United States and other countries and its implications for a free and fair democracy today. The faculty member that I worked with was very engaged with my topic, and made revisions and suggestions during the process of research and revision for my paper.
